SH 1500/3000 Shredder  Deutsch

The Link SH1500 Tyre Shredder produces <19 mm steel-free⁽¹⁾ rubber "Chips" in one pass from whole domestic & light commercial tyres and from quartered and debeaded or preshredded truck tyres.

The SH1500 Shredder is designed to meet the needs of tyre stores, recycling operators and municipalities where high production levels are required and space is at a premium. This machine utilises the well proven cutting system of the larger SH3000 Shredder. Its unique cutting mechanism combined with the concept of the SH3000 feeder achieves a high level of separation of rubber and steel. The discharged steel-free⁽¹⁾ rubber "Chips" are suitable for immediate sale or further processing.

Unique Features
The SH1500 is compact, economical and simple to operate. It is designed to process whole car and light truck tyres. as well as quartered or pre-shredded, de-beaded truck tyres (TDF). The cutting mechanism consists of a large single shaft rotor fitted with 36 replacable, reversible blades, and three sets of replacable stationary blades, fed by a load-sensing automatic feeder.

Tyres are placed onto the infeed conveyor, which deposits the tyres into the tyre feeder. Automatic feed rate control ensures that the tyres are uniformly reduced to a maximum size of 19 mm (3/4") chips and at the same time, having the steel removed.

Size reduction is controlled by two removable screens surrounding over 310 of the diameter of the rotor.

The processed tyre chips fall onto a discharge system consisting of a vibratory discharge tray, integrated “Magnetic Separation System” and a two deck screen. Three different size ranges of Steel-Free chips are seperately discharged by augers for storage or further processing. The steel is transferred away from the machine by a belt conveyor
